Maintain pellets are a great source of protein, energy and palatable digestible fibre for your livestock. Used in conjunction with other feed sources, such as grains and Protein meals, Maintain will help to keep stock in condition and provide daily nutrient requirements of adult cattle and sheep. Maintain is particularly valuable as a supplement during pregnancy and lactation.
Maintain feed is pelletised into large, 8mm diameter pellets meaning they are easy to trail out on the ground with minimal waste and can be safely fed to all ruminant animals as a supplement to and extender of forage.
Maintain features palatable high fibre, 14% true protein and low starch. It also includes milled grain and fibre co-products, vegetable protein meal, selected minerals, vitamins and trace elements, making it an economical all-round pellet for your livestock.
Maintain Pellets can be fed at 2% of livestock bodyweight per day. Although the pellets incorporate fibre and are low in starch, they are palatable, and it is recommended that an initial diet adaptation period be followed when starting to feed Maintain Pellets to livestock. Controlled and gradual introduction of the pellets is important for the animals to adapt and condition their gut to new feed. Please give special attention to controlling the introduction of Maintain Pellets to excessively hungry or drought affected stock. As an introduction, feed small amounts of the Maintain Pellets (about 0.2% of the animal’s bodyweight per day to begin with) and slowly increase this measure to the recommended daily amount over ten days.

These pellets do not contain ionophore chemicals are quite safe for al livestock. They do not contain urea. This product does not contain any restricted animal materials.
